About the Toyota-West Dallas Scholarship Program
The Toyota-West Dallas Scholarship Program supports outstanding students from West Dallas and, in particular, L.G. Pinkston High School graduates who are enrolled, or plan to enroll, in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, university or graduate school.
Scholarships are available, on a competitive basis, to:
- Graduating high school seniors
- Undergraduate students (all years)
- Graduate students
Award
Students are selected based on merit. Scholarship award amounts are $5,000.
Eligibility Requirements

An eligible applicant must:
- Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, college or graduate school
- Be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or DACA recipient
- Complete the FAFSA
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale for high school seniors
- Minimum 2.5 GPA on 4.0 scale for undergraduate and graduate students
- Be a graduate of a Texas high school
Other
- Special consideration will be given to graduating seniors and recent graduates of L.G. Pinkston High School
- Students who graduated from other Dallas-Fort Worth area high schools are highly encouraged to apply as well
- All majors accepted
